Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group announced its December quarter performance today, February 12, beating the street estimates. The company reported a 32% YoY jump in its standalone net profit at ₹762 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal. Its net profit stood at ₹575 crore in the year-ago period. In the preceding September quarter, the net profit was ₹770 crore.
The company’s standalone revenue increased by 2.7% YoY to ₹9, 478 crore as against ₹9,273 crore in the year-ago period, which is an 2.21%.
On the operating front, the company reported an EBITDA of ₹1,211 crore in Q3, while the margins came in at 12.8%.
