The Macherla Additional Junior Civil Judge Court on Monday remanded a YSRCP leader Turaka Kishore in judicial custody for 14 days in a case related to attack on the TDP local office and cadre in 2022. The police arrested the accused on Sunday and produced him in the court on Monday, Palnadu district Superintendent of Police Kanchi Srinivasa Rao told The Hindu on Monday.

Based on a complaint from the TDP leaders, the police booked the accused under various allegations including unlawful assembly, conspiracy, criminal trespass, hurting people, mischievous behaviour and others.
