A 20-year-old man and three juveniles were nabbed by the police after they allegedly posted a reel on social media in which they brandished weapons and made threats

The police said they received a complaint from a resident of Pulianthope alleging that some youth had posted a video on an Instagram account with two of them carrying knives and threatening others. Based on the complaint, the Pulianthope police registered a complaint under Section 326 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) read with the Arms Act. 

After their investigation, the police tracked down the youngsters who took the video and posted it on social media. The police said three of them were juveniles between 16 and 17 years of age, and they were sent to an observation home after being produced before a court.

The police also arrested a 20-year-old identified as S. Vijay, of Thiru Vi. Ka Nagar. A knife and a mobile phone were seized from them.

One of the juveniles was involved in a POCSO case, the police said.
