A wrestler surrendered himself after killing a construction worker in Gudikatte village near Bailhongal of Belagavi district on Monday.

The 58-year-old accused, Basavaraj Kallayya Pujar, told the police that he killed 48-year-old Basavaraj Kumbar.

He had engaged Basavaraj Kumbar of Katageri in Bagalkot district to build his house but they developed differences over the construction of a house in his farm.

Basavaraj Kumbar disagreed with Basavaraj Pujar’s ideas. The wrestler could not tolerate this and crushed him with a stone.

Dodawad Police have registered a case.
