Water supply from Veeranam tank resumed on Tuesday following the completion of repair work on the pipeline transmitting water from a waterbody in Cuddalore district. A press release said the pipeline developed cracks, due to which water supply from Vadakuthu treatment plant had to be suspended. With the completion of the repair work, water supply to areas such as Mylapore, Raja Annamalaipuram, and Nandanam has resumed.
