VIT-AP University hosts a 12-hour hackathon

 VIT-AP University, in collaboration with Google Cloud, organised GoogleDevs Sprint 2K25, a 12-hour hackathon, exclusively designed for its students as part of Digital Campus 2.0 on Google Cloud. Around 350 teams registered for the hackathon, out of which 160 teams were selected to participate after an elimination round. Finally, the top three teams emerged as winners.

The convener of the event Deepasikha Mishra gave an overview of the hackathon, highlighting its significance.

Regional Head – South at Google Cloud Siddharth Dalwadi spoke about how Google Cloud was proactively preparing students for industry challenges by organising hackathons and certification programs through Digital Campus 2.0 on Google Cloud.

Vice-Chancellor of VIT-AP University S.V. Kota Reddy, Registrar Jagadish Chandra Mudiganti, Dean, SCOPE Sudhakar Ilango, Associate Dean, SCOPE Saroj Panigrahi and Deputy Director of Student WelfareK. Pasha Sk. were among those present.
