The Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) leader Premallatha Vijayakant on Sunday said Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay should make sure adequate arrangements were in place for the protection of his cadre just as he was being protected.

Speaking to reporters at Karur, Ms. Premallatha said TVK too was at fault just as the State government for “lack of attention” which led to the stampede claiming the lives of several people. Such incidents should not recur, she added.
