Santosh Kannal, who was attacked by robbers in his house in Vijayapura recently, died in a private hospital.

He was seriously injured after the robbers stabbed him and pushed him down the staircase from the first floor.

He was admitted to a private hospital in Vijayapura but the efforts of the doctors to save him did not succeed. The body will be brought to Dindavara village in Vijayapura district.

Minister M.B. Patil’s public relations officer Mahantesh Biradar met the members of the victim’s family and told them that the Minister has expressed condolences while assuring the family of the government providing assistance to them.

The District Police have already arrested three people from Maharashtra in connection with the case.
