The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the final results of the second round of seat allotment for medical and dental undergraduate courses, and the third round for AYUSH courses. In total, 18,867 seats have been allotted so far, according to KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.

Taking into account both rounds, 9,958 seats have been allotted for medical courses, 2,658 seats for dental courses, and 6,257 seats for AYUSH courses, Mr. Prasanna said in a press release.

After this stage of allotment, 158 seats remain vacant in medical courses, 50 seats in dental, and 6,251 seats in AYUSH. In addition, seats that were allotted in the second round but not taken up by candidates will be considered for the mop-up round of seat allotment, he explained.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round can pay the fees by September 26 and must report to their colleges by September 28, the statement added.
