The Vadakkekara police took two persons into custody late on Sunday night (January 19) on the charge of attacking the house of Rithu Jayan, 27, who had been arrested on the charge of murdering three members of a family at Chendamangalam on Thursday (January 16).

The duo has been taken to hospital for medical examination. It is suspected that they were in an intoxicated condition. Police personnel have been deployed at the house ever since the triple murders occurred.
