The Navodaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust will distribute uniform to members of self help groups promoted by it to mark Trust’s Silver Jubilee celebrations on March 24 at SCDCC Bank headquarters here.

A release from the Trust here said Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner M.P. Mullai Muhilan, Mangaluru South MLA D. Vedavyasa Kamath, president of the Trust and the bank M.N. Rajendra Kumar and others will attend the programme.

Founded in 2000 with 1,071 SHGs to economically empower women, the Trust now has over 39,500 SHGs with more than 3.92 lakh members, said a release.
