A 22-year-old crane operator died after falling from the 24th floor of an under-construction high-rise in Kukatpally on Friday, July 18.

The deceased, identified as Yuvaraj Patel, was a native of Sidhi district in Madhya Pradesh. He was employed as a tower boom operator with Honer Homes and was reportedly carrying out routine work when he accidentally fell to the ground. He sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.

A case was booked against the supervisor of the construction company and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
