Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president K. Selvaperunthagai on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) condemned the vandalism of a plaque bearing the face of former Chief Minister K. Kamaraj by unidentified persons at Mathur in Kanniyakumari district.
Expressing shock over the incident, the TNCC leader said the State government should take strict action against those involved in the incident. “The vandalism occurred against the backdrop of increasing activities of religious forces in recent times in that area, and such incidents are likely to disrupt the law and order situation,” he cautioned.
