Medavakkam Police nabbed three juveniles, who allegedly hurled petrol bombs at three houses in Kovilambakkam on June 1.  All three were sent to an observation home.

Police said the three boys aged 17 were school dropouts. On June 1, the first incident took place on 3rd Street, where a bomb was hurled outside the house of Akash 25. Minutes later, bombs were thrown outside the houses of two others. No one was injured, the police said. 

Initial probe revealed that the trio had a conflict with a resident of one of the houses over non-payment of money. To threaten the person, the trio had hurled the bombs, the police said.
