Telangana government issued orders reshuffling IAS officers on Thursday (June 12, 2025)

After putting in place grievance redressal mechanismsin different sectors, government has embarked upon a major reshuffle of IAS officers late on Thursday evening, effecting transfers and new postings to almost three dozen bureaucrats.

One major transfer was of Revenue department principal secretary Navin Mittal, who has been posted as Energy department secretary relieving Finance Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania from full additional charge.

Telangana Bhavan special chief secretary Shashank Goel has been posted as Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan, Delhi, relieving Gaurav Uppal who has been posted as Secretary to Government, Coordination (GoI Projects & CSS) in Telangana Bhavan.

Another senior official, N. Sridhar, has been posted as principal secretary of the Panchayat Raj department. He will continue to hold full additional charge as principal secretary of Mines & Geology and I&C Department.

Registration and Stamps Inspector General Jyoti Buddha Prakash has been posted as SC Development Department secretary. Nizamabad Collector Rajeevgandhi Hanumanthu is posted as special secretary (Registration & Stamps) in place of Dr. Buddha Prakash who will forthwith hold full additional charge as Planning Secretary and executive officer of Telangana Remote Sensing Applications Centre (TGRAC).

Additional Chief Electoral Officer D.S. Lokesh Kumar has been placed in full additional charge of the post of Revenue secretary in place of Mr. Navin Mittal, and he will also hold the charge as Chief Commissioner of Land Administration. B. Bharati Lakpathi Naik will be the secretary of Telangana Information Commission.

Harichandana Dasari will be the new Hyderabad Collector in place of Anudeep Durishetty, who has been posted as Khammam Collector.

GHMC additional commissioner K. Sivakumar Naidu is posted as Irrigation department Land Acquisition and R&R commissioner in place of T. Vinay Krishna Reddy who has been posted as Nizamabad district collector. Panchayat Raj director G. Srijana has been given full additional charge as WCD director replacing A. Nirmala Kanthi Wesley . Siva Sankar Loheti has been posted as joint secretary of Agriculture department in place of P. Uday Kumar.
