The Kerala government has reportedly revoked the suspension of IPS officer Sujith Das, former District Police Chief of Pathanamthitta. It is understood that the decision was taken by a review committee headed by Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan. Mr. Das was placed under suspension on September 5, 2024 following the row over a telephone conversation between him and the then MLA P.V. Anvar that surfaced in the public domain. Mr. Das had allegedly made disparaging remarks about the then ADGP (Law and Order) M.R. Ajith Kumar.
