The Kulavallur police have registered a case against five Plus Two students for allegedly assaulting a junior at PR Memorial Higher Secondary School.

The case was registered against the accused under Sections 189(2), 191(2), 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), and 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

In his complaint, the victim, a Plus One student, said the seniors had assaulted him over a dispute regarding his behaviour and appearance on Wednesday (February 12). The victim sustained a fractured hand in the alleged assault. The police are investigating the incident.
