A 19-year-old college student was killed after he fell off his two-wheeler in Ashok Nagar on Saturday night. The Guindy traffic investigation police have filed a case and are investigating. 

The victim Santosh Kumar was a second-year commerce student of a private college and was staying in Kodambakkam. On Saturday night Santosh along with his friend Alwin were proceeding to have dinner in Ashok Nagar. Police said Santosh was driving a high end bike at high speed on Ashok Nagar 4th avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a two-wheeler and dashed into a compound wall of the Corporation Park. In the impact Santosh, who according to police was not wearing helmet, fell down and sustained head injury and was killed on the spot. Alwin, who was riding pillion, escaped with minor injuries.

The Guindy traffic police sent the body of Santosh to ESI Hospital for post mortem.
