SIMS Hospitals launched an all encompassing women’s health and wellness centre: ‘SIMS Penmai’ in Vadapalani on Wednesday. Inaugurated by actor Urvashi, along with her daughter Tejalakshmi Jeyan, the facility has been designed for four divisions, aiming to support women through every stage and phase of life.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology’s department head, Sandhya Vasan said that Penmai is built around a ‘circle of care’ philosophy with four specialised divisions: Mazhalai, for infant and neonatal care; Miraclenest for advanced fertility treatments; Thulir to guide women through every stage of their maternity journey; and Mangai, where we offer tailored care from adolescence to post-menopause.

Clinical Lead and Senior Consultant at IVF department, Erika Patel said while the centre is equipped with advanced medical infrastructure, the focus will also be personalised and compassionate healthcare for women. As part of the launch, SIMS Hospitals is offering free obstetrics and gynaecology, and other consultations at SIMS Penmai for the first 100 registrations.
