Chennai: Residents in four zones of the city — Madhavaram, Thiru.Vi.Ka.Nagar, Ambattur and Anna Nagar — may face issues pertaining to sewage on Thursday and Friday. Sewage pumping stations would not function as the CMRL would be carrying out an interconnection work on the pipeline at Madhavaram. The work would be carried out near Madhavaram Rountana and Moolakadai junction between 9 a.m. on Thursday and 10 p.m. on Friday, a release from Chennai Metrowater said. The sewage pumping stations include those in Villivakkam, Korattur, Ayapakkam and VOC Nagar. Residents may contact engineers (8144930903/906/907/908) in the respective zones for complaints.
