Employees and officials of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, residing in Sector 12 of Ukkunagaram Steel Township, organised a candle march on Sunday to condemn the recent terrorist attack on innocent tourists at Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir.

Carrying candles they raised slogans like ‘Mera Bharat Mahaan,’ ‘Vande Mataram,’ and ‘We Stand United for the Nation,’ the employees walked through the lanes of Sector 12, sending a clear and resolute message against terrorism.

The residents expressed deep anguish over the barbaric act and reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to national unity, peace, and harmony. The candle march saw people from age groups participate. It was marked by a spirit of patriotism.

The event underlined the collective sentiment of the Ukkunagaram community that the nation stands united and undeterred in the face of such cowardly acts.
