: Power supply was affected in areas  like Alapakkam, Maduravoyal from Friday (April 11, 2025) midnight. 

Residents from these areas took to X and complained about the power cuts since last night tagging Tangedco’s official handle.

Many complained about their area without power supply for over 8 hours and supply not being restored yet. 

A  Tangedco official attributed the power cuts due to feeder faults around the Koyambedu area.

“All three feeders developed faults. We have rectified the main feeder fault and restored power supply. We will resolve the issue soon,” the official added.

Tangedco replied to complaints on X, stating that work is in progress to resolve the issues.
