The C-Zone cultural festival of Calicut University began at EMEA College of Arts and Science at Kondotty in Malappuram on Tuesday. Inaugurating the festival, M.P. Abdussamad Samadani, MP, said real art lies in discovering and cultivating the hidden talents and skills of students.

Calicut University Vice-Chancellor P. Raveendran presided over the function. Reminding the audience of the transformative power of art to unite and inspire them, Dr. Raveendran said the festival would be a testament to the talent and dedication of students.

Mubashir P.K., festival general convener, welcomed the gathering. EMEA College of Arts and Science Principal Riyad A.M., Syndicate members Rasheed Ahamed, C.P. Hamza, T.J. Martin, and Madhu Ramanattukara, university union chairperson Nitin Fatima, general secretary Safwan P., former Syndicate member V.P. Abdul Hameed, district panchayat member Zareena Haseeb, and Kondotty block president K. Bindu spoke.
