The Central Crime Branch of the City Police organised a Cyber Crime awareness rally at Elliots Beach, Besant Nagar, on Sunday. 

A large number of students participating in the awareness rally which was aimed to create awareness about online trading scams and digital arrest scams carried placards and banners. Retired DGP C. Sylendra Babu flagged off the rally. 

A.Radhika Additional Commissioner of Police (Central Crime Branch) and Joint Police Commissioner (South) Bandi Gangadhar also participated. 

People can file complaints regarding cyber scams by calling 1930 or file a complaint at www.cybercrime.gov.in.
