Jana Sena Party (JSP) president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has told the party leaders and cadres not to openly express their views on the mischievous social media posts about the ruling coalition and its internal affairs.

He wanted the focus to be laid on realising the objectives of the JSP and its allies TDP and BJP who joined hands not for power but to save people from the forces inimical to them.

In an open letter posted on the social media platform ‘X’ on Monday, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said that a part of the credit for the NDA’s victory goes to the ‘dictatorial rule of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), corruption, broken law and order, and, most importantly, its retrograde policies that pushed the State’s development backward by decades’.

People wanted a credible alternative and found that the NDA was the best bet for Andhra Pradesh to recover from the crises that plagued it since bifurcation, he said.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan said the NDA achieved a phenomenal 94% success in the Assembly elections and the JSP won all 21 Assembly and two Lok Sabha constituencies it contested from. “This was nothing short of a miracle,” he said.

The NDA should treat this victory as a responsibility and behave accordingly. What all had been achieved in the last seven months became possible because of the confidence reposed by the people in the NDA, he said.

While jointly working with the allies for the stated objectives, the JSP leaders and cadres should prepare for the party’s plenary scheduled for March, which was an occasion to rededicate themselves to their goals, Mr. Pawan Kalyan added.
