Raj Niwas on Friday wrote to the Delhi Chief Secretary to organise special camps so that beneficiaries of the DDA’s ‘Sasta Ghar’ scheme may  avail themselves of the facility.

The housing scheme, approved by the L-G last week,  allows construction workers, women, ex-servicemen, divyangjans, members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and other sections of society  to buy houses at a discount of 25%. The DDA said priority will be given to workers, labourers, jhuggi dwellers, and those living in rental accommodations.

Raj Niwas said special camps will be organised across the city in a decentralised manner for people to avail themselves of the benefits. The scheme will offer the discount on flats in Narela, Siraspur, and Loknayak Puram.
