Oil and gas Public Sector Undertakings such as Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited launched a 14-day awareness campaign on green energy and fuel conservation on Friday.

The campaign, SAKSHAM, aims to raise awareness about fuel conservation and the judicious use of petroleum products to ensure a safer environment and sustainable energy resources for future generations.

As part of the campaign, a walkathon was organised on Friday, in which over 250 school students and officials from the PSUs, including Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, and Oil India Limited, participated.

A quiz and slogan-writing competition were also held for school students to promote awareness and engagement.
