New office-bearers have been elected to The Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the year 2025-2026. The elections were held at the 262^nd meeting of SIRC on February 24 in Chennai.

A press release said, Revathi S. Raghunathan, from Chennai, has been elected as the Chairperson. She is the third woman from the Southern Region to hold this position. Along with her, Subba Rao Muppala has been elected Vice-Chairman, Deepa Varghese as Secretary, and Y.V. Bhanu Narayan Rao as Treasurer. Additionally, Pramod Ramamohan Hegde from Bengaluru has been nominated as Chairman of the Southern India Chartered Accountants Students’ Association.
