Sattupati Prasanna Sree, a professor at Andhra University, took charge as the new vice-chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya University on Thursday. She is the first woman professor from a tribal community to have been appointed vice-chancellor of a State university in Andhra Pradesh. She has a teaching experience of 23 years and vowed that she would promote literature and improve the skills of students through skill development programmes.
