The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has formed a Internal Complaints Committee headed by S. Sasikala to hear complaints of sexual harassment from women employees in the transport department. 

In a circular issued by the MTC dated May 26, a five-member internal committee has been reconstituted to receive and hear complaints of any sexual harassment based on the directions of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment department. 

The committee headed by S. Sasikala, Chief Financial Officer of MTC, would have as its members officials of MTC including S. Manimekalai, B. Saravanaraja, S. Selvakumar and Himani Datar, Guild of Service.
