The city police arrested a person who had allegedly planned to murder his in-laws at Duvvada, here on Saturday.

As per the police, K. Srinivas was married to Mounica during the year 2020 and they had a son. Recently, the couple has been staying separately due to disputes.

Police said that when Srinivas was trying to meet his son, his in-laws have not been allowing. Upset by this, Srinivas has reportedly given supari to a gang to eliminate his in-laws. In the investigation, it was found that Srinivas has already paid an advance of ₹30,000 for the murder.

The accused was arrested and sent in remand.
