Mangalagiri MLA and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh distributed permanent house site title deeds for 298 poor households belonging to Ratnalacheruvu in Mangalagiri-Tadepalli Municipal Corporation (MTMC), and Neerukonda as part of the ‘Mana Illu- Mana Lokesh…Pedalaku Pattabhishekam’ programme on Friday (April 4, 2025). 

The lands belong to various government departments and were regularised by the government keeping in view the complicated and time-consuming process of relocating the people living there to other places. After giving away the title documents, Mr. Lokesh promised the people that Mangalagiri would be developed on all fronts. 

“I won the constituency with a stunning majority and my responsibility to people has increased. Housing is one of my major promises. I will give 3,000 house sites in the first phase. It will take time to distribute some title deeds,” he said, noting that the market price of the lands would be several crores.
