Two officials of the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) were caught red-handed by the Lokayukta police while accepting a bribe to process a complainant’s application for E-Swathu property ownership documents.
A statement from the Lokayukta Superintendent of Police Udesh T.J. said the complainant appeared before the police and reportedly said the Revenue Officer M.N. Nandeesh and Bill Collector Razak of Zone 4 of MCC were demanding a bribe of ₹25,000 to process his E-Swathu application.
The sleuths caught the officials red-handed while accepting the bribe, the statement added.
