An advocate from Eluppakonam near Thuckalay has been arrested on Monday under the POCSO Act for allegedly sexually assaulting two minor girls.

According to police, two minor girls, from Thuckalay have been reportedly missing since March 13 and their parents lodged a complaint at Thuckalay police station. Following which, three special teams were formed to trace down the children.

Further investigations revealed that the children were sexually harassed by an advocate identified as R. Ajith Kumari, 31. Further investigations are on.
