The tussle within the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University looks set to worsen with Vice-Chancellor in-charge K. Sivaprasad issuing orders on Monday nullifying the decision taken by the Syndicate at a tumultuous meeting, held recently, after he had called it off.

The Vice-Chancellor also directed university officers to refrain from implementing any decisions that had been made after the meeting was “dispersed” by him.

Dr. Sivaprasad had earlier submitted a detailed report of the incidents that had taken place on the day of the Syndicate meeting on January 16 to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who is also the Chancellor of the university.
