In view of upcoming International Yoga Day event scheduled to be held here on June 21, as part of security measure, the District Collector has announced that the Beach Road stretch between Naval Coastal Battery (NCB) amd Park Hotel Junction as temporary red-zone from June 17, 10 a.m. to June 21, 10 a.m. In a release on Wednesday, Mr Harendhira Prasad said that flying or operating drones in the peripheral area within five km radius en route NCB to Park Hotel Junction is prohibited. He said that if any person is found violating the rules, they will be liable for punishment under Aircraft Act, 1934.
