Commenting on the honey-trap allegations made by Cooperation Minister K.N. Rajanna, which has rattled the ruling disposition, Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi on Saturday said he has suggested to Mr. Rajanna to file a complaint in order to help uncover “the mastermind behind it”.

“Mr. Rajanna has to first give a complaint, then the police will investigate. There is still time for Mr. Rajanna to give the complaint,” he said. On whether leaders from Scheduled Castes and Tribes were being targeted, Mr. Jarkiholi said: “It is not related to community. Roaring tigers are being targeted. Those roaring are being shown CDs to tame them.”

He said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will decide on the nature of complaint to be lodged regarding the whole development. “There are various angles. In a few cases there is politics, in others there is business and there is also a possibility of blackmail. We have to wait till the investigation is completed,” he said.
