In view of the continued heavy rains, Kannur District Collector Arun K. Vijayan has declared a holiday for all educational institutions in Irrity taluk on Friday.

The order applies to schools, anganwadi, religious education institutions, tution centres, and professional colleges.

However, there will be no change in the conduct of scheduled examinations, the Collector clarified.
