Justice P. Dhanabal of the Madras High Court, at its Madurai Bench, on Wednesday permitted the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) to conduct a two-wheeler rally in Madurai on February 28. The petitioner, B. Deepam, district secretary of Madurai City North VCK unit, said the party had planned to conduct the protest seeking prevention of atrocities.
