Fire at cinema hall in south Delhi’s Saket, no one injured

A fire broke out at a cinema hall in a mall in south Delhi’s Saket on Wednesday, the police said, adding that no one was injured in the incident.

An officer of the Delhi Fire Services said they received a call about the blaze at 5.42 p.m. and six fire tenders were rushed to the spot. However, he said the flames were contained by 5.55 p.m.

The officer added that a minor short circuit at the cinema hall led to the fire, but no damage was reported, and the situation was quickly brought under control.
