The Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services (TNFRS) Department is conducting a free public awareness programme on fire safety, “Come and Learn”, for two days beginning from Saturday.

The programme is designed to engage local people in tackling fire, by inviting them to the nearby Fire and Rescue Stations to learn about the essential fire safety practices.

As part of this initiative, personnel at all the 375 Fire and Rescue Stations across the State will conduct three awareness sessions each on October 11 and 12 on their premises. The sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., 12 noon to 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., said a press release from the department.
