Former Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Hanumanthu Lajapathirai suggested that engineering students should be ready to adapt themselves to new environments, culture, traditions and food as they would have to work in different parts of the country.
Delivering the keynote address on “Inclusivity in Diversity” at JNTU-GV here on Monday, he said that India was known for co-existence of different religions, castes, and languages which might confuse the youngsters initially but it would be a great opportunity for them to learn new things quickly during their relocation to cities like Mumbai, Pune Bengaluru, Gurgoan and Chennai where many software and hardware companies were providing jobs.
JNTU principal R. Rajeswara Rao, vice-principal Nagaraju, Equal Opportunity Cell coordinator Bindu Madhavi and others were present.
