District Central Library to hold TNPSC Group I, IV model tests

The District Central Library will conduct model tests on Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group I competitive exam on its West Boulevard Road premises on April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. According to a release, the complete portions of Group I will be covered in the model test. Students will be required to answer questions through the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) method. Cash prizes will be given to the top scoring candidates.

On April 21, the library will conduct model tests on TNPSC Group IV competitive exams from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The free tests will be held in association with N.R. I.A.S Academy and Rotary Phoenix Club.

Portions covered for the Group IV model test will be Unit III Indian History, Culture and National Movements, Unit III Tamil writing skills, and problems of Simple Interest in Mathematics.

The first five candidates to score high marks in the test will be given a cash prize of ₹1,000 each. Three students who come second will be given ₹750, and three of those placed third will be given ₹500 each.

In addition to this, the library is conducting free coaching sessions on its second floor for TNPSC Group II, II-A and IV aspirants from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday every week.
