Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Tuesday instructed officials to ensure synergy among government departments while undertaking precautionary measures in view of the monsoon. Chairing a meeting at the Secretariat, he reviewed the steps taken by various departments and agencies to deal with monsoon-related problems in the city. He took stock of storm-water drain works, restoration of waterways and waterbodies, and measures taken in areas where inundation was reported in 2024. Ministers K.N. Nehru and P.K.
