Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has asked consumers to pay their dues of water and sewer tax and charges by March 31.

A press release said consumers can pay tax and charges as cheques or demand drafts in collection centres functioning in all area offices and headquarters at Chintadripet.

Residents can also remit tax and charges online through https://bnc.chennaimetrowater.in/#/public/cus-login using debit and credit cards, and net banking facility.

They can also use other payment methods like UPI and QR code at collection centres. Metrowater has requested residents to make payments before the deadline to avoid surcharge.
