The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), Mangaluru, announced on Thursday that D.B. Mehta is the president-elect of CREDAI-Karnataka for the 2025-27 term.

CREDAI Mangaluru president Vinod A.R. Pinto, in a statement here, said Mr. Mehta would automatically assume charge as the president of CREDAI Karnataka for the subsequent 2027–29 term.

He said Mr. Mehta is known for his strategic vision and long-standing commitment to industry growth and transparency.

Mr. Mehta previously served as CREDIA-Mangaluru president for two consecutive terms from 2015 to 2019, during which he played a pivotal role in strengthening the association’s presence, driving policy dialogue and promoting responsible real estate development in the coastal region.

In addition to his industry leadership, Mr. Mehta brings with him extensive administrative experience as a former officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). His strong governance background, combined with deep industry insight, uniquely positions him to lead CREDAI Karnataka through a period of policy transformation and sustainable development.

Mr. Pinto said Mr. Mehta’s elevation to the State leadership comes as a moment of pride not just for CREDAI-Mangaluru, but for the entire Dakshina Kannada. His experience and insight are expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of Karnataka’s real estate ecosystem, with a focus on sustainability, policy reforms, and member empowerment.
