Congress MP Mallu Ravi lashed out at BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao, accusing them of misleading the public with their recent remarks against the State government and urged the public not to be carried away by their false campaign.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Mr. Ravi alleged that the BRS government’s actions had set the State back 50 years. “In contrast, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is a great leader who has introduced the caste census and BC Bills in the Assembly,” he said, stating that BRS leaders were daydreaming of returning to power.
He assessed that the BRS would be bound to register zero in the impending local body polls. The Congress senior leader suggested that BRS leaders instead make constructive suggestions to the government for the benefit of the people.
Meanwhile, TPCC General Secretary Chanagani Dayakar also welcomed the High Court Division bench’s verdict on Group-I selections. He said that the verdict was a slap in the face to BRS, who, he said, allegedly spread false propaganda about the Group-I exams. Mr. Dayakar added that the Opposition had spread false information to incite hatred among the unemployed, but the court’s verdict had set the record straight.
TPCC Media and Communications chairman Sama Rama Mohan Reddy, also welcomed the High Court Division Bench’s verdict on Group-I appointments. He said that the court verdict was a humiliation for those who wanted to defame the government. Mr. Reddy accused the BJP and BRS leaders of playing dirty politics against Group-I rankers and their parents, preventing them from getting jobs.
