A police complaint has been filed against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar for shooting a video of his visit to the Guruvayur Sreekrishna temple. The complaint was lodged by advocate V.R. Anoop, a native of Kandasankadavu and a Congress leader, with the Temple police.
Mr. Chandrasekhar had shared visuals of his temple visit on social media.
The Kerala High Court had imposed restrictions on video recording along the temple’s inner corridors following a previous incident. The complainant said Mr. Chandrasekhar violated Kerala High Court order.
In response to the complaint, BJP leader C. Krishnakumar posted photos of Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala’s visit to the temple on Vishu day on social media.
