The Red Fort and Jama Masjid received a bomb threat on Thursday morning which turned out to be a hoax, a Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said.

After receiving a call at 9.03 a.m., security agencies rushed to the spots and thoroughly checked the premises, the DFS official said.

“We rushed one fire tender to each site and conducted thorough searches. However, nothing suspicious was found at the sites,” he added.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police also confirmed that “nothing suspicious” was found.
