: The Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Administration has extended the ban on manufacture, storage, transport, distribution or sale of chewable food products such as gutkha and pan masala, containing tobacco and nicotine as ingredients in the State for one year with effect from May 23, 2025. A gazette notification has been issued to this effect.
